Welcome to the Melbourne Electronics & Radio Club.

We are a small club in the North Western suburbs of Melbourne, for people interested in Amateur Radio or Electronics in general. Visitors are always welcome at our club meetings, and our weekly net.

Club Meetings

We meet every Friday night, at the 1st Keilor Scout Hall, 2 Bonfield St Keilor, starting from around 7:30pm. Just go down the stairs to the left. In bad weather the roller door may be closed, continue around to the back of the building

Club Net

The club hosts a net every Wednesday at 8PM, currently on a temporary repeater. 439.825MHz, -7MHz offset, 91.5Hz tone. A Members CW Net is also being trialled.

Projects

At the Melbourne Electronics & Radio Club, we believe that the best way to learn amateur radio is to build something. Whether you are studying for your first licence or looking to deepen your technical knowledge, hands-on projects are one of the most rewarding — and effective — ways to develop the skills that matter. Licensing

The MERC has qualified assessors who can assist you when studying for your Amateur Radio Licence and when you are ready, allow you to sit your Amateur Radio exam. See Licensing for further information.
